2011 Planning Training for CTC's Confirmed

Following the successful delivery of four planning training events for Community and Town Councillors in Welshpool, Cardiff, Newport and Swansea last year and early this year, we are please to announce that ten more sessions have now been confirmed in locations across Wales. We are also hoping to confirm a further two Welsh language events in North Wales for this year.

The confirmed events will be held on the following dates;

i. 31st March, Mold

ii. 3rd May, Kidwelly

iii. 19th May, Swansea

iv. 26th May, Cwmbran

v. 9th June, Neath

vi. 16th June, Brackla

vii. 16th June, Usk

viii. 23rd June, Welshpool

ix. 28th June, Haverfordwest

x. 29th June, Caernarfon

All sessions run from 18:30 to 21:00 and include;

i. An overview of the planning system, including key players

ii. The role of CTC's in planning

iii. Local Development Plans

iv. Material Considerations

v. Planning Applications

vi. Interactive planning games.

vii. Q & A
